April 21 Update: Thanks to the incredible response to our call for Fall 2025 opt-ins, we have reached capacity and are no longer able to accept additional requests for Fall.

Programs, departments, or schools that have not yet opted in are welcome to submit interest for Spring 2026 using our Canvas Request Form.

Specific details related to the Spring 2026 opt-in process will be communicated as they become available.

What is Canvas?

Canvas by Instructure logo

Canvas is an innovative learning management system (LMS) that offers a seamless, user-friendly platform for teaching and learning. Built with flexibility and collaboration in mind, Canvas provides faculty with robust tools to design engaging courses, integrate multimedia, and foster meaningful student interactions. Its intuitive user interface makes it easy to manage assignments and assessments, integrate third-party tools, and communicate for in-person, hybrid, or online classes.

For course coordinators and school leadership, its advanced analytics and reporting features provide valuable insights into student performance, course engagement, and overall learning trends, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance educational outcomes.
